November Highlights: Celebrating the Season, Local Leadership & Spectacular New Listings

Autumn is arguably the best time to live in Northern Virginia. This year was especially glorious as we were treated to weeks of blue skies, temperatures in the 60s & 70s and one of the most magnificent displays of colorful fall foliage in recent memory. Thirty-four consecutive days without rain ended in November, giving us ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Home buyers took advantage of the great weather driving the largest increase in pending sales in Virginia’s housing market in more than three years. While the team was extremely busy with new listings and new adventures, we also made time to gather and celebrate the season together.

More than 100 turned out to enjoy hay rides, games, an ersatz petting zoo and seasonal fare. The highlight of this year’s event was the stunning vocal performance of Realtor Jill Barrios who along with a full five-piece band delivered toe-tapping renditions of pop favorites and authentic “old country”.
